Get your workspace ready.
Start with access and calling approval, then check your audio and the destination you want to call.
How do I sign in or request an account?
Use Continue with Google to sign in or create a workspace. New Google users do not need a separate username or password. Existing password accounts remain available through “Use an existing password account.” If an older KVWang account already uses your email, linking Google requires that account’s password and confirmation to protect its workspace and billing history. For real calling, request trial approval after creating your workspace.
If the password is rejected or you need to reset it, contact support@tapilot.dev with your work email and team name. Do not send your password. Receiving an account does not automatically approve calling.
Why is the call button disabled?
A disabled call button can mean a setup step is missing. It does not mean you need to pay again. Work through these checks in order:
- Check the workspace notice. If it says live calling is not enabled for your team, contact support about your invitation and intended use.
- Check your business number. “No approved number” means an outgoing number is not currently available for your team. A sign-in or test subscription does not assign one.
- Check the destination. Enter a supported US customer number. A +1 prefix alone does not establish US destination eligibility. Emergency, toll-free, premium, and unsupported routes are unavailable.
- Confirm the call purpose. Choose customer follow-up or requested callback and confirm the customer requested or expects your call.
- Check and confirm the quote. Use Check call cost and review the result. A route may be blocked or a trial limit may have been reached.
If these checks do not resolve the issue, send the displayed error, your team name, browser version, and the approximate time of the attempt to support. Do not send customer lists or payment details.
How do I check my microphone and speaker?
- Open your invited workspace and use Check microphone. Grant microphone access when you choose to test it. Check both browser site permissions and your operating system privacy settings if access was previously denied.
- Use Check speaker and confirm that your headphones or speaker are selected, connected, and not muted.
- Check that another app is not using or changing your audio device. Try a headset to reduce echo.
- If a real call connects but the other person cannot hear you, report the call time and what each side heard. A speaker test alone does not prove the full telephone connection is working.
Browser microphone access requires a secure page and permission. See MDN’s microphone permission documentation. The public demo intentionally uses no microphone and places no calls.
How do I save the next step?
Select a customer in the invited workspace, write the call note, optionally choose the next follow-up time, and select Save next step. Confirm the saved entry appears in Customer activity. Date and time are displayed in your local timezone.
The public demo uses fictional contacts and keeps edits only until you reload the page. Demo notes are not saved to your real account.
When can I subscribe, recharge and start calling?
The $15 monthly plan includes 200 billed minutes to approved ordinary US numbers, one assigned business number and the calling workspace. Minutes reset each paid billing period and do not roll over. Extra usage uses prepaid calling credit at $0.02 per billed minute, rounded up per answered call. Subscribe after calling approval and number assignment; no initial top-up is needed to use included minutes.
Purchases require approval and an enabled workspace. Approved invitation calls need no purchase. Internal test payments and test balances cannot fund real calls. A payment return page alone does not confirm activation; use Check payment under Billing. Do not pay again to solve a missing number or calling approval.
Billing shows payments, recharges and recorded refunds. Call history shows each call’s charge; a pending settlement is not a final amount. Existing paying users can still check payments and manage a subscription if calling becomes unavailable. See the pricing explanation and refund policy.
